该标准规定了检测电雷管能否不起爆，耐静电放电（ESD）的方法。该标准不适用于磁耦合雷管（磁力耦合雷管）。

이 표준은 전기뇌관이 기폭되지 않고 정전기 방전(ESD)에 견딜 수 있는지의 여부를 측정하기 위한 방법을 규정한다. 이 표준은 자기결합 뇌관(magnetically-coupled detonators)에는 적용되지 않는다.
