1.1 This specification defines the requirements applicable to design and construction of rotary positive displacement pumps for shipboard use. The classes of service are shown in Section 4 . 1.2 This specification will not include pumps for hydraulic service or cargo unloading applications. 1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard.
