本标准定义了使用细节点概念表示指纹信息的方法。信息技术

以及可选的脊线计数和核心/增量信息扩展。

This standard defines a method of representing fingerprint information using the concept of minutiae. It
defines the placement of the minutiae on a fingerprint, a record format for containing the minutiae data,
and optional extensions for ridge count and core/delta information.
