1989年,为一家西班牙滚珠轴承制造商设计了一条自动化装配线。对于最复杂的模型,需要进行八次操作。独立的站被设计成一个模块化系统,并允许在需要时进行手动操作。由于尺寸范围广泛,许多部件,如机械手和一些进料器必须是非标准的。最后,大多数固定件必须重新设计,以实现自动化工作,因为标准元件无法满足所需的灵活性。
IN 1989, AN AUTOMATED ASSEMBLY LINE WAS DESIGNED FOR A SPANISH BALL-BEARING MANUFACTURER. FOR THE MOST COMPLEX MODELS, EIGHT OPERATIONS WERE NECESSARY. INDEPENDENT STATIONS WERE DESIGNED TO GET A MODULAR SYSTEM, AND ALLOW MANUAL OPERATION IF NEEDED. MANY COMPONENTS, LIKE MANIPULATORS AND SOME FEEDERS HAD TO BE NON-STANDARD BECAUSE OF THE WIDE RANGE OF SIZES. FINALLY, MOST FIXINGS HAD TO BE REDESIGNED FOR AUTOMATION WORK AS STANDARD ELEMENTS WERE NOT FOUND TO MEET THE REQUIRED FLEXIBILITY.
