THIS PAPER DEALS WITH HIGHLY EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGIES OF DIAMOND ABRASIVE MACHINING OF TOOL MATERIALS USING SYNTHETIC DIAMOND AND CBN GRINDING WHEELS: WHEELS 500-1200 MM IN DIAMETER, WHEELS WITH TWO-, THREE-, AND DISCONTINUOUS- WORKING LAYERS; ELASTIC WHEELS; FLAP AND FLEXIBLE WHEELS, ETC. THE GRINDING WHEELS ARE BEING DEVELOPED USING THE CAD SYSTEM, WHICH INVOLVES THE MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMMING AND THE SOFTWARE FOR CAD OF TOOLS OF SUPERHARD MATERIALS AND DIES FOR THEIR PRODUCTION.
