该标准规定了适用于纯音空气传导听力计的听力逆Cherebel尺度的零点标准，以使听力逆Cherebell测量和表达在国际上保持一致，提高连贯性。这是明示的适合直接应用于听力计校准的形式。也就是说，根据4.2规定的KS C IEC 60318-1耳模仪测量的普通耳朵上耳机的等价域值声压级标准侧和KS C IEC 60318-3声耦合器和KS C IEC 60318-1耳模仪各给出两个额外的表格，每个型号的数据侧。该数据以对听力检查标准负责的多个标准机构和科学文献中可用信息的评价为基础。关于基准等级的适用和推导的信息将在附录A和B中给出。

이 표준은 청력역치레벨 측정과 표현을 국제적으로 일치시키고 일관성을 높이기 위하여 순음 공기전도 청력계에 적용하는 청력역치레벨의 척도에 대한 영점 기준 표준을 규정된다. 이것은 청력계 교정에 직접 적용하기 적합한 형태로 명시하고 있다. 즉, 4.2에 규정하는 KS C IEC 60318-1에 따른 귀 모의기로 측정한 일반적인 귀에 얹는 이어폰의 등가역치음압레벨 기준 측면과 KS C IEC 60318-3 음향결합기와 KS C IEC 60318-1 귀 모의기 각각에 대하여 두 개의 추가적인 표로 주어진 모델별 데이터 측면이다. 이 데이터는 청력검사 표준에 대해 책임이 있는 여러 표준기관과 과학 문헌에서 사용할 수 있는 정보에 대한 평가를 기반으로 한다. 기준 레벨의 적용과 유도에 대한 정보는 부속서 A와 B에 주어진다.
