Integrally Woven Preforms For Rtm Rtm用整体编织预制件

已开发出由多个相交平面组成的整体编织预制件的技术。该工艺产生的预制件在预制件平面交叉处具有以纤维为主的特性,包括通过交叉处的连续纤维。根据所选的纤维类型和纤维结构,可以用35%到60%的纤维体积分数生产网状模制复合材料。预制件由陶瓷纤维和碳纤维制成,模数为230至725 GPA。
TECHNIQUES HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED FOR INTEGRALLY WEAVING PREFORMS CONSISTING OF MULTIPLE INTERSECTING PLANES. THE PROCESS RESULTS IN PREFORMS HAVING FIBER DOMINATED PROPERTIES AT THE INTERSECTION OF PLANES OF THE PREFORM, INCLUDING CONTINUOUS FIBERS THROUGH INTERSECTIONS. NET SHAPED MOLDED COMPOSITES CAN BE PRODUCED WITH FIBER VOLUME FRACTIONS OF FROM 35% TO 60% DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF FIBERS AND FIBER ARCHITECTURE SELECTED. PREFORMS HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH CERAMIC FIBERS AND WITH CARBON FIBERS FROM 230 TO 725 GPA MODULAS.
