The East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) conducted this study to determine the indoor end uses of water in single-family residences and the water savings for each end use associated with the installation of water conserving fixtures and appliances. This study represents the second in a series of three end use studies. The first study, conducted by the Seattle Public Utilities, was completed in 2000.
