本标准适用于先导式和直接作用式减压、减压（背压）、差压和温度调节器。泄漏等级的选择不受调节器设计的限制，但根据第4节，针对每种等级，建议各种商用设计的可接受值。本标准不能用作在规定条件以外的条件下预测泄漏的依据。本标准类似于ANSI/FCI 70-2《控制阀座泄漏测试标准》。

This standard applies to pilot operated and direct acting pressure reducing, pressure relieving (back pressure), differential pressure and temperature regulators.Selection of a leakage class is not restricted as to regulator design, but acceptable values for various commercially available designs are suggested for each class under Section 4.The standard cannot be used as a basis for predicting leakage at conditions other than those specified.This standard is similar to ANSI/FCI 70-2, Standard for Control Valve Seat Leakage Testing.
