Noncontact High-Speed Tube Gaging System 非接触式高速测管系统

利用背光式立体被动摄像技术,实现了一种高速非接触式测管系统。该系统完全对眼睛安全,因为不需要激光照明。该系统是完全自动且机械安全的,因为框架式后视镜可能会偏离摄像机的视线。可以选择适当的部件以支持极高的速度运行。由于不需要管夹具,仅节省成本就足以证明将该技术纳入管制造过程的成本是合理的。
A HIGH-SPEED NONCONTACT TUBE GAGING SYSTEM IS IMPLEMENTED THROUGH THE USE OF BACKLIT STEREOMETRIC PASSIVE CAMERA TECHNOLOGY. THE SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY EYE-SAFE, AS NO LASER ILLUMINATION IS REQUIRED. THE SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY AUTOMATIC AND MECHANICALLY SAFE AS GIMBALED MIRRORS CAN DEVIATE THE CAMERA LINE-OF-SIGHT. THE SELECTION OF THE APPROPRIATE COMPONENTS CAN BE MADE TO SUPPORT AN EXTREMELY HIGH-SPEED OPERATION. SINCE NO TUBE FIXTURING IS REQUIRED, THE COST SAVINGS ALONE MAY BE SUFFICIENT TO JUSTIFY THE COST OF THE INCORPORATION OF THIS TECHNOLOGY INTO A TUBE MANUFACTURING PROCESS.
