The primary objective of this paper is to present preliminary results of the pilot study evaluating low-pressure membrane filtration, microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) to treat water from the Jordan River. A secondary objective is to summarize experimental conditions and protocols. Both membrane operational data and water quality data are reported. At this time, only the MF data have been analyzed. Therefore, this paper will focus on the results of MF testing. Includes tables, figure.
