The primary objective of this paper is to present preliminary results of the pilot study evaluating low-pressure membrane filtration, microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) to treat water from the Jordan River. A secondary objective is to summarize experimental conditions and protocols. Both membrane operational data and water quality data are reported. At this time, only the MF data have been analyzed.
