This part of IEC 62932 applies to flow battery systems for stationary applications and their installations with a maximum voltage not exceeding 1 500 V DC in compliance with IEC 62932-1.
This document defines the requirements and test methods for risk reduction and protection measures against significant hazards relevant to flow battery systems, to persons, property and the environment, or to a combination of them.
This document is applicable to stationary flow battery systems intended for indoor and outdoor
commercial and industrial use in non-hazardous (unclassified) areas.
This document covers significant hazards, hazardous situations and events, with the exception of those associated with natural disaster, relevant to flow battery systems, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer including reasonably foreseeable misuse thereof.Cross References:EN IEC 62485-2:2018IEC 62485-2:2010ISO 7010IEC 61936-1IEC 60364-4-43EN 60079-10-1HD 60364-6IEC 60364-4-41HD 60364-4-43IEC 60079-10-1IEC 62932-1IEC 60364-6EN 61936-1HD 60364-4-41IEC 60529EN IEC 62932-2-1EN IEC 60721-3-2IEC 62282-3-100EN 61025EN 61936-1IEC 62282-3-300IEC 61025EN IEC 60900IEC 62351 (series)IEC 60050-482IEC 61936-1IEC 61000 (series)ISO 13850IEC 60721-3-2ISO 3864 (all parts)EN 61660-2IEC 62351 (all parts)IEC 60664-1EN IEC 60812ISO 7000EN 62351 (series)IEC 60900EN 62282-3-300IEC 62477-1EN 62477-1EN 61660-1EN 60529IEC 61660-2IEC 62932-2-1IEC 61000 (all parts)EN 62282-3-100IEC 60364-5-53EN ISO 13850EN 60664-1IEC 60812EN 61000 (series)IEC 61660-1All current amendments available at time of purchase are included with the purchase of this document.
