本标准规定了操作防护罩验收的最低设计标准和测试方法，该防护罩是为保护人员和资产在DoDM 6055.09-M第V1.E9.3.1.1段中定义的弹药监视、维护、改装、翻新和非军事化操作或弹药装载操作期间免受意外或故意爆炸物的伤害而开发的。

This standard establishes minimum design criteria and test methods for acceptance of operational shields developed to protect personnel and assets from accidental or intentional detonation of explosives during ammunition surveillance, maintenance, modification, renovation and demilitarization operations or ammunition loading operations as defined in paragraph V1.E9.3.1.1 of DoDM 6055.09-M.
