This specification covers the requirements for Copper Alloy UNS Nos. C17000. C17200, and C17300 rod and bar in straight lengths.

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, Copper Alloy UNS No. C17200 shall be the alloy furnished.

The values stated in either inch-pounds or SI units are to be regarded separately as standard. Within the text, the SI units are shown in brackets. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the specification.
