GB/T 307 的本部分规定了向心轴承的尺寸和几何特性、与公称尺寸的极限偏差以及公差值，以限定向心轴承的界面(倒角除外)。公称外形尺寸在IS0 15、IS0 355[2]和IS0 8443[7]中给出。
本部分不适用于某些特殊类型的向心轴承（如冲压外圈滚针轴承）或特殊场合使用的向心轴承（如飞机机架轴承和仪器精密轴承）。这些轴承的公差在相应的标准中给出。倒角尺寸极限在IS0 582中给出
