该标准规定了在农林业拖拉机驾驶座上测量噪音及制作报告的方法。测量的噪音只与基本机械有关，适用于承用型拖拉机。测量结果为司机提供信息，以免暴露在可能对听觉造成危害的噪音水平上。噪音测量时，机器的运转条件是规定，对机器运转时传递给驾驶员的最大噪音，可以进行实际的、再现性的测量。该标准规定的试验程序与KS I ISO 12001规定的方法相同。

이 표준은 농림업용 트랙터 운전석에서 소음 측정 및 보고서 작성을 위한 방법에 대하여 규정한다.측정된 소음은 기본적 기계에만 관련되며, 승용형 트랙터에 적용된다. 측정 결과는 청각에 위해를 가할 수 있는 소음 수준에 노출되지 않도록 운전자에게 정보를 제공한다.소음 측정 시 기계의 작동 조건은 기계 작동 시 운전자에게 전달되는 최대 소음에 대하여 실제적이고 재현성 있는 측정이 가능하도록 규정한 것이다. 이 표준에서 규정된 시험 절차는 KS I ISO 12001에 규정된 방법과 같다.
