本标准规定了一种在短时间内暴露于火焰时，验证光连接元件（包括永久连接）和光纤耦合器中所用材料对火焰非传播的适用性的方法。 它应与EN 2591-100一起使用
This standard specifies a method of verifying the suitability of materials used in optical connection elements (including permanent connections) and fibre optic couplers with respect to non-propagation of a flame, when exposed to a flame for a short period. It shall be used together with EN 2591-100.
