Limitations—
This specification does not cover the following types of products: Non-powder guns as specifically defined in Consumer Safety Specification

and which are commonly referred to as BB or pellet guns; paintball markers as specifically defined in Specification

; toy products; and non-recreational air guns, for example, those used by law enforcement, scientific, military, industrial, or theatrical entities.
