该标准规定了用砂置换法求出原位土的密度的试验方法，而使用该标准规定的装置及方法所能试验的范围仅限于最大粒径在53mm以下的土。

이 표준은 이 표준은 원 위치의 흙의 밀도를 모래 치환법에 의해 구하는 시험 방법에 대하여 규정한다.그리고 이 표준에서 규정하는 장치 및 방법을 사용하여 시험 할 수 있는 범위는 최대 입자 지름이 53mm 이하인 흙에 한한다.
