WORLD CLASS PERFORMANCE REQUIRES A RADICAL CHANGE IN THE STRUCTURE AND SYSTEMS OF MANY ORGANIZATIONS. THIS PAPER DESCRIBES ONE COMPANY'S APPROACH TO ORGANIZATION PROCESS REDESIGN AND EXPLAINS THE USE OF TASKFORCES AS A VEHICLE FOR CHANGE. IT ALSO ILLUSTRATES THE APPROACH AND MECHANISM OF A TASKFORCE THROUGH A CASE EXAMPLE.
